Various assessment methods, such as written knowledge tests, written calculations tests, and practical tests, enable participants to demonstrate competency.
The practical test involves showcasing specific skills and abilities under the direct observation of the assessor. On the training day, the trainer will inform you of your course completion status and offer guidance if additional training is needed.
All courses are face to face/workplace based, held over 1-2 days depending on numbers and experience.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL and Credit Transfer)
RPL and Credit Transfer acknowledge skills and knowledge acquired through formal training, work, or life experiences. Participants with current experience may have a reduced course duration.
They might need to provide additional evidence or undergo a challenge test to determine their current knowledge and skills level.
Irretye Train & Assess is committed to recognising AQF qualifications and statements of attainment from other registered training organisations.
Direct Credit Transfer is available for students enrolling in a course with an existing equivalent unit of competency. RPL and CT apply only to the knowledge and skills component of this course.

Fees and Refund Policy
Policy:
All course fees must be paid at the specified time, as indicated in the course information. Payments can only be made using credit card or electronic funds transfer (EFT). Tax invoices will be provided as required, and there is no Goods and Services Tax (GST) included in the course cost. It is important to note that all students are responsible for their financial commitment to the RTO.
Procedure:
The RTO has implemented appropriate safeguards and fair options for any advance payments made by students. In the event that a course is cancelled while in progress due to circumstances beyond the RTO's control, students will receive a refund of fees on hold or be offered the opportunity to transfer to another course. If students have any queries regarding eligibility for refunds, they should contact the CEO of Irretye Train & Assess.
Withdrawal and Refunds:
If a student withdraws from a course at least 14 calendar days before the commencement date, they will receive a full refund, excluding any enrolment fees. However, if a withdrawal occurs within 14 calendar days of the course commencement, the student will be liable for enrolment fees and 50% of the course cost. If a student withdraws from the course after commencement, they will forfeit all monies paid and be responsible for the full course cost.
Fees in Advance:
If a student wishes to pay more than the application fee during enrolment, the amount should not exceed $1,000.00 before the course commencement. However, the RTO may require additional fees in advance from the student, as long as the total amount payable for tuition or other services yet to be delivered does not exceed $1,500 at any given time. The RTO ensures that any funds paid in advance are not utilized until the courses or units have commenced.
Procedure - Refunds:
To request a refund, students must submit a written claim using the Refund Request Form to the CEO of the RTO. The refund application will be processed within 4 weeks after receiving the claim. Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis and will only be refunded to the individual who entered into the contract with the RTO. Refunds will be provided electronically and not in cash. It is important to note that agreeing to the Refund policy does not waive the student's rights under Australia's consumer protection laws or prevent them from pursuing other legal remedies.
